The Spiritual Path
Animal and Human
As each spirit comes to Earth, they begin as animals. Once a spirit has an understanding of life and survival, it is reborn as a human.
Through our lifetime, we are given tasks that help to define the skills that we need to perfect. Science believes that humans use less than 10% of their brain. As a soul returns to Earth over and over, the amount of the brain that gets used increases until there is nothing else that the human brain is capable of.
At the end of each human life, the spirit is judged. The person will witness everything that they did in their life to determine the Karmic value for each action, both good and bad. This is the event known as a person seeing their life flash before their eyes right before death.

Spirit
Once this tally is completed, the value that is determined dictates how long a spirit will be an ethereal creature. At this stage of existence, the spirit assists the Goddesses and Gods as an entity often referred to as an angel or "that something watching over you."
This is a time of evaluation. During the time determined as a spirit, they are judged on their actions and abilities, the same as when they were terrestrial. At the end of the designated time as an ethereal being, the spirit is judged once more and once again sent to Earth to take human form to continue their path to perfection.

Enlightenment
Once one has achieved all that is expected as both a human and as a spirit and has been judged to be ready to achieve even more, the spirit is given a choice. One may choose to return to Earth and begin the process over, or one may decide to remain an ethereal entity and become a God or Goddess. One may also choose to become pure energy and become enlightened with all the knowledge in the universe!
If a spirit chooses to become a God or Goddess, they are not given their own kingdom. Rather, one begins assisting, or serving, the Eldest of Gods and Goddesses who long ago achieved perfection.
This process continues over and over again until the being finally perfects all that is expected of them as both a human and as an actual spirit.
If a spirit chooses to become enlightened, they may never return to the plane where humans and spirits coexist. This is to prevent the lesser developed species from being able to use knowledge that they have not discovered or unlocked yet. This process is called either The Enlightenment or Ascension.
